How to begin your order

You may begin placing your order in one of two ways.

Method #1.

1. Select your items by clicking on the add to cart button and place them in your shopping cart.
2. Review your items in your cart and click proceed to check out
3. You will be asked for some contact and billing information.
4. If you are placing a prescription order, you may be asked to enter some information about you, your pet and your veterinarian, this is required to ensure the accuracy of your prescription order and shipping information.
5. Click submit, once you have reviewed your order and the prescription information.
6. We recommend printing your receipt for your records, we will be sending you a copy of your order and shipping information for you to keep as well.
7. If you happen to notice a mistake, please feel free to call us and we will be happy to correct the error. Please notify us as soon as possible to ensure the correction can be made before your item has shipped.

1. Before you have chosen items to place in your shopping cart, you may begin by clicking on the click here to register now icon.

Shipping Policies. Methods, and Rates:

Currently we cannot ship prescription orders outside of the United States. We do ship both prescription and nonprescription orders to APO/FPO addresses.

Orders of in stock, nonprescription items will usually ship within 1-3 business days. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for prescription order processing. We will do our best to make all prescription orders process quickly but how quickly your veterinarian replies to confirm the prescription determines the actual time it takes to process your order. Please note that prescription items with Priority shipping will not ship until the prescription is approved by your veterinarian first. You should expect any order shipped via standard shipping to arrive at your door within 3 to 7 business days. Standard orders are shipped via USPS. All Priority Mail orders are shipped via USPS as well.

Shipping Costs with an order over $39.00 {$39.01 or more}:
Standard shipping is FREE.
Priority Mail is $3.99 normally 2-3 business days.

Orders shipping to Canada have separate shipping fees that will display when placing an order.

Shipping to Canada is $10.99 for most orders, few exceptions apply, you will be contacted if additional shipping is necessary. VetApprovedRx ships via USPS for most orders.

Please Note: You are responsible for importation of your order. We cannot be held responsible for returned, damaged or destroyed packages by customs. Please make sure you know your regulations for importation into your country or region. There may also be additional duties, fees or taxes imposed by customs. Canada post calls these COD Collect on Delivery Fees which includes a $7.25 administration fee. The FDA does not allow the returns of food or drug products this includes anything taken orally to the United States from Canada. Any refused or returned packages will be destroyed by customs.

Orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska and New Mexico can take up to 10 business days to get to destination.

Canceling an Order:

We know that for various reasons you may need to cancel your order with us, please call us directly at 1.877.847.7389. We prefer you call over sending an email to prevent a delay in processing the request and you will be able to ask any questions you may have. If your order has not shipped yet we will be able to cancel your order free of charge, no questions asked. If your order has shipped before you call to cancel, you will need to request a return code and your order will be subject to our return policy. Please see our return policy below.

Easy Returns:

We have a 100 satisfaction guarantee on all of our products. You can return any product purchased from us within 30 days of the order date. By law we cannot accept prescription item returns. In order to make the return process as smooth as possible, please read the following procedure carefully.
You should either call us at 1.877.847.7389 or email us at our customer service: and place the request for a return code. Since we value your opinion, we will ask you to provide an explanation of why your are returning the product. Customer feedback on our products is greatly appreciated.

Please write your name, order number, address, return code and contact information on another piece of paper and place it in the box with your item. Anything you return should be either unopened or in otherwise new condition to ensure that you're eligible for a full refund.

We will contact you with details of your refund, once we receive and process the returned item. Please note that we refund shipping costs only if the return is the result of our error, and the entire order is returned.

The products being returned must arrive unopened and in saleable condition.
We strongly urge shipping any returns in durable protective packaging with tracking so you can confirm when we have received it.
We are unable to accept returns of refrigerated items..


We offer only the highest quality products available. If you receive a product that has been damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately so we can arrange to have the product replaced or have a claim filed with the delivery carrier if necessary. We pay for return and replacement shipping for any order errors that are our fault. Claims must be made within 72 hours after you receive an order. You may cancel an order at no cost if it has not yet shipped.

On your receipt you will have the opportunity to click on consultation and it will take you directly to the consultation request with all of your information filled out except for your questions. We will also email you your one time use veterinary consultation code that you may wish to use at another time or within next 30 days.
