How does Frontline Plus work?:
Frontline Plus contains Fipronil and the insect growth regulator S Methoprene. Frontline Plus effectively targets all stages of fleas. Fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair follicles, and continues to be released from hair follicles onto the skin and coat, resulting in long-lasting activity against fleas, ticks and chewing lice.

Frontline Plus for Dogs 23-44 lbs Blue box
Frontline Plus for Dogs 45-88 lbs Purple box

How often do I need to apply it?
To control fleas:
When used monthly, Frontline Plus completely breaks the flea life cycle. Research demonstrates that Frontline Plus kills adult flea, flea eggs and flea larvae for up to three months.Although Frontline Plus can control fleas for up to three months, if there is a high risk of re-infestation or if the pet has fleas which may cause flea allergy dermatitis, a once monthly application may be needed.
To control ticks:
Fronline Plus kills ticks for at least one month. A once monthly application is recommended where tick control is needed.
To control chewing lice:
Frontline Plus kills chewing lice for at least one month. A once monthly application is recommended where chewing lice control is needed.
Do not reapply Frontline Plus for 30 days.
How do I apply Frontline Plus?:
FRONTLINE Plus and FRONTLINE Top Spot can be applied in one easy application:
1:Remove an applicator from the child-resistant package and cut or lift off the plastic tab to expose the foil. Peel down.
2:Hold the applicator upright and snap the tip away from your face and body.
3:Place the applicator tip through your pet's hair to the skin between the shoulder blades. Squeeze the applicator and apply the entire contents in a single spot onto your pet's skin.
Note: FRONTLINE Spray is typically used to treat a severe infestation quickly.
Individual sensitivities, while rare, may occur after using any pesticide product. Since FRONTLINE Brand Products are topical some pets may experience temporary irritation at the site of product application. If signs persist, or become more severe within a few days of application, consult your veterinarian immediately
