Some of the pet meds on our website do require a prescription from your local veterinarian. If Veterinary authorization is required, we will send a fax to your veterinarian for him or her to approve the prescription product you have ordered. If you have a written prescription you can send the prescription to us and we will ship all in stock prescriptions within 24 hours of receiving the prescription, except on weekends. We also make reordering very easy with appropriately timed emails so that your pets meds will not run out.  We do this for both prescription and non prescription items, such as flea medicine.

At VetApprovedRx we partner with many local veterinarians to provide an online pharmacy where the veterinarian can refer his or her clients to purchase their prescriptions online. We share the profit from these sales with your veterinarian. When you purchase your pet's medications at VetApprovedRx we give your veterinarian the opportunity to share in the profit from your purchase.

We stock the most common pet medications and also, provide the most common compounded veterinary prescriptions, such as Cyclosporin ophthalmic medicine, and Methimazole topical. Our pharmacists are experienced in compounding veterinary medicine. If your pet has a hard time taking a pill we can compound that pill into liquid flavored medication. We sell medicine purchased directly from the manufacturer or from a licensed distributor. All of the pet medications we sell are EPA and/or FDA approved medicine only.  The medication we sell are products we have experience using and know that these products are effective.  We sell pet medication for most of your pets medical conditions. If we do not sell it we can get the medication for you.
